Saying Hello

Post by Simple »

Hi All

Simon here from Lightwater Surrey,

Just saying hi, just purchased my 2nd Ns400r.

1st in 1987 new till 1990 loved it,

2nd today 4 owners with 20 thousand miles with all old MOTs to back up milage,
with a box of spares NOS discs pads gaskets etc, including raask rear sets, 1 set of aftermarket silencers, and a set of expansion chambers all very dusty,

Hope to pick up the bike on the weekend weather permitting will post a few pics then,

Cheers Simon

Welcome Simon :D

Look forward to seeing some pictures!

Re your exhaust post - I think Luggy is right. Certainly regarding the silencers
If it ain't broke, fix it 'til it is.

Hi,

Collected the bike today its a little tatty in places but rides perfectly well, all seems to be there and pretty original apart from
brake lines and a few odd alloy fixings, So a good starting point for my next restoration
project
Cheers Simon,

That looks really nice. Certainly not tatty. A bit of Autoglym on the switchgear and some original screws will make that look even better.
