Dead battery effects...

You guys are the best, this is the same situation as my bike. Just got her yesterday and the battery connections were buggered fixed that and charged the battery. Then this morning went to start it and had the red light come on till I revved it up after a couple of restarts the battery died again. I am in Japan so I so you would think I can find a battery easily enough?
