The two mirrors aren't quite as identical as I first thought.

The new 125 mirror has a longer reach and a longer mounting point. The length of both make no real difference when fitting it to the NS400R mounting bracket though.

Yes Ian, the Red wheels need to go...

I'll check the garage over the weekend, and and see if there's anything you can use.

I know I've got a White set somewhere..

You've had a win with the mirrors though, that's good :D
If it ain't broke, fix it 'til it is.

I'd rather keep red than have white.
The original black finish underneath seems good but may be rough in places if I were to remove all of the red.

The mirror is a definate win. I'm even happy with the slightly longer arm as it moves the mirror out slightly so my arm doesn't get in the way as much.
The longer pin thingy that mounts it to the other bit just isn't an issue at all. Can't believe I've waited 9 years to sort this niggle.

A black set of Ebay is in order to correct your dayglo fashion faux pas.

Hopefully with the 125 mirrors you'll be able to see something behind you.

Got an aftermarket pair of NS125 mirrors yesterday that I had forgotten I'd ordered.
Direct replacement for the original NS400R mirrors if you use the mount form the stock mirrors.
Cheap build as expected but adequate to use.

These are the new mirrors I totally forgot I'd ordered.

The little knuckle needs removing and the mirror fitted to the old existing NS400R arm. Not an exact fit but good enough to use. Also puts the mirrors a little further out so it is easier to see past your arms.
