I only have action pix:  http://home.comcast.net/~borgnsr/pics/Turn3_go.jpg and a video clip of me at the track: the 12 meg version and the 6 meg version . Check out the darkies! Like to see my NS do that! Doing a "Save As" on either of the above links will save my homepage server some grie...

That is freakin' hilarious! :D How many other RC51 slash NS400R owner's are out there beside you, me and Rvt2002?

To answer your question tho: ...I choose the RC51 weapon. Bring it on! 8) But my sig stays the same, even on the RC boards.

Guys hanging out on the 2strokes list did this a lot a few years back with modern RS125 frames (at least 10 times as strong as an NS). They didn't crack frames but they broke motor mounts all the time.

The pistons have to be almost perfectly smooth with no pitting so as not to catch on the seals. All my pistons are pitted to some extent, and require routine CAREFUL wetsanding when rebuilding the brakes.

Anyone know if replacements-substitutes are available?

I've used up to 15 weight in my forks, but they got a little slow. ATF is 10 weight, and multi viscosity, so it'll work more consitantly in the winter and summer. Single weight fork oil will change more between summer and winter, but it is more tuneable if you are racing. I've had better luck with r...

Give it a while...

Reset your brain. Think momentum, and give it some time. It will come back to you. It really is a nice bike, but its no rocketship anymore. I also have an RC51 and a NS400. They are night and day ridden back to back. Granted there are things that I can do on the NS that I can't do on the RC, but the...

I guess you are right about that... but which would you rather have:

1. You are bankrupt and your government is rich.

It sounds like gumball is talking about the preload adjuster. Same story tho, when it goes, its gone. Buy a replacement shock with a proper screw type preload adjuster, bust your knuckles setting it right, and then forget it. You'll never need to change it.

No, not me. I was in church at the time. 8)

That guy was the son of a local sheriff's deputy. And the guy flying the plane had a stopwatch about as accurate as my speedo, or was on crack. Allegedly.

Totally wishfull thinking. The speedo lies like a rug, and calculations show that the actual top speed on that bike is 211.3 kph. Mirrors are folded back (on highways), and I'm tucked in under the paint to get there. I can hit top speed at Monza halfway down the front straight, if I get the paraboli...

240 kph regularly. Once did a stretch of about 100 km at 190 to 240 on the autostrada for about 35 minutes before running out of gas 4 kms from the next service station... 4 Euro for 4 liters, 80 Euros for the truck to deliver it.

If you're lucky, it packs up instantly and never comes back. If you're not, then you chase it around for a few months, sometimes the bike runs perfect, the next moment it won't rev. Then its ok, then not. Repeat until you've changed a dozen things, and finally gone crazy. Consider yourself lucky. bo...
